In the UK, one area where a go towards greater electronic communication has been resisted has been in the sending of greetings cards. While the greater convenience and celerity of email has made its mark on our business lives, and much on our day-to-day non-employment communications, there is small sign that the traditional birthday or Christmas card is being usurped by the various methods of virtual greetings.
